It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie Geibel Woodring of Bloomfield, Connecticut, who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Geibel and Anna Geibel; her husband Richard E. Woodring; her sister Margeret; and her brother-in-law James Brown.
She is survived by: her children, John (Cindy Woodring) and Susan (Craig Ahrens); her grandsons, Erik (Marah Woodring), Kevin, Kyle Woodring, Ryan and Connor Ahrens; her great grandchild Joseph John "JJ" Woodring; her brother Louis; her sister-in-law Barbara Geibel; and her sibling's children, Lou, David Geibel, Betsi Hytha and Stephen Brown.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Seabury Retirement Community (200 Seabury Dr, Bloomfield, CT 06002).
