He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa Onette Sproat and Donald Clifford Sproat; and his son-in-law Jason Courtmanche of Storrs. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sproat of Granby, CT; his children, Kimberly (Dan Lanicek), Jennifer Sproat, Scott (Samantha) of Austin, TX and Gregory (Leslie Sproat) of Dallas, TX; his stepchildren, Amy Ncton of Storrs, CT, Anne Marie Nocton of Knoxville, TN and Matthew Nocton of South Windsor, CT; and his caregivers, Musa Sebadduka and Ursula Brown. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.
