It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidney George Trusty Jr. (Bloomfield, Connecticut), born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, who passed away on June 30, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Trusty and Geneva Trusty (Harris); and his siblings, Maurice, Leroy and Saundra Trusty.
He is survived by: his wife Berlyn Marie Watkins of New Orleans, Louisiana.; his children, Monia of Lithonia, Omar Millville (Laura), NiKole of Hartford and Aaron of New Britain; his grandsons, Kamren and Jacob of Hartford Two; his sisters-in-law, Cynthel Watkins-Rambo and Louise Watkins of Hartford; his nieces and nephews, Ronald Trusty, Jr., Anthony Trusty, Ramar Trusty, Rameal Trusty, Sheila Nelson (Tonja), Terri Watkins, Kim Watkins, Myliena Trusty, Alliyah Trusty and Tyhisha Trusty; his great-nieces, Jazmin, Randi, Ashley, Kayla and Baylen Timberlake; and his great-nephew Corey of Hartford, CT.
