She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Anderson, Sr. and Opaulee Anderson (Holloman) of Plant City, FL.; her sons, Melvin Jr., Terrance and Marcus Anderson; and her siblings, Madison, Eugene Holloman, Charles, Jr., Keith Anderson and Brenda Anderson.

She is survived by : her sons, Rory of Hartford, Troy (Paula) of Orlando, Courtney Anderson (Tamicka) of McDonough, GA and Paul Brightly of Bloomfield, CT.; and her sisters, Theresa Brown of Oakland Park, FL, Carrie L. Anderson of Plant City, FL and Margaret Reid of Lakeland, FL.. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, friends.
