He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Lang; and his siblings, Diane Parlow of Bowie, MD and Ralph of Newtown Square, PA.. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Neild (Andrew McKenzie) of Broad Brook, CT and Joel Neild (Amanda) of Clermont, FL; and his stepdaughter Rebecca McFarland (Ingimar Bjarnason) of Farmington, CT.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to New England Public Media or to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Norwich, Connecticut, in the form of grocery gift cards.
