He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Politowicz and Yvonne Politowicz (Daigle); and his brother Edmond "Butch" Politowicz. He is survived by: his son Coz Politowicz (Josey) of Canterbury; his siblings, Marsha Rollinson (Harry) of Chester, Barbara Wilcox (Thomas) of Canterbury and Paul Politowicz of Taftville; his grandchildren, Dylan and Devin; his stepchildren, Mike Francis and Anneke Francis; and his nieces and nephews, Paulie Politowicz, Chad Politowicz, Shaunna Collins, Joe Politowicz, Laurie Winslow, Lisa McKenzie, Julie Theriault and Laura Tracy.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to fund research for the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease.
