He was predeceased by: his daughter Kimberly Jean Eldridge; and his brothers, Christopher Eldridge Jr. (Kit), Donald Eldridge Sr., Robert Eldridge and David Eldridge Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Eldridge; his sons, Earl Wayne Eldridge Jr., Shaun C. Eldridge and Jason J. Eldridge; his grandson Georgie; and his parents, Christopher Brown Eldridge and Mabel Fowler Eldridge.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Leffingwell Baptist Church (388 Salem Turnpike, Bozrah, CT 06334). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Maplewood Cemetery (184 Salem Turnpike, Norwich, CT 06360).
