She is survived by: her sisters, Tracie, Katie and Jenna Klimkoski; her son Mark DeMerchant (Carole) of Norwich, CT; her grandchildren, Mandy, Eric and Tyler; her son Grant DeMerchant (Suzanne) of Southington, CT; her brother James McGarrigle; her half-siblings, Elizabeth Lawrence, Dale and David McGarrigle; her nephews, Stephen McGarrigle and Larry DeMerchant; her niece Joyce Fowler; and her close friend Millie Maxim.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
