He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Petrafesa Masotta; his parents, Vincenzo Masotta and Maria Farina Masotta; and his siblings, Adeline Panico, Lena Massari, Philip, Pasquale, Aglino and Ernest Masotta.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward J. Masotta, Jr. (Antonia) of Branford and Charles A. Masotta of Branford; his granddaughters, Therese and Elena Masotta of Branford; and his sister Rita Rascati of East Haven. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
