It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Fortune of Branford, Connecticut, who passed away on May 19, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Fortune; her parents, Harry Hughes and Elsie Hirschfield Hughes; and her children, Thomas and Jane Fortune.
She is survived by: her children, William Fortune of Branford, Robert Fortune of Branford and Nancy Leta of Branford; and her sister Barbara Craig of Holden, MA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
