He was predeceased by: his parents, Venanzio (Sebastiana Almondo Ranalli) and Branford; and his siblings, Vito Ranalli (Mary), Daniel Ranalli (Dorothy), George Ranalli (Antoinette), Josephine Cinquanta (Alex), Clara Cinquanta (Tony) and Helen Allen (Norman).
He is survived by: his wife Ann Ciarlelli Ranalli; his children, Cynthia Tischer (William), Frank Ranalli (Geraldine) and Martha Vaughn (Richard); his grandchildren, James Swope-McShane (Mark), Taryn McShane (Bradley), Kelsey Montry (Marc), Brooke Vaughn, Richie Vaughn (Sarah) and Michael Vaughn; and his great grandchildren, Bryn Montry, Zaid and Max Swope-McShane.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home (244 N Main St, Branford, CT 06405). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Mary Church (731 Main St, Branford, CT 06405).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Branford Food Pantry or Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter.
