It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Panichas of Branford, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Peter Panichas (Rose) of Cheshire and Mary Jane Gaetano of Hamden; his stepson Michael DeRosa (Jill) of Tampa Fl; his stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Morgillo (Joseph) of Branford and Christopher DeRosa (Kerri) of North Branford; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Macayla and Liam Morgillo; his siblings' children, Keri Banack (Trevor) of Cheshire, Maria Conlon (Tom) of Wallingford and Richard Giamette of New Haven; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mason, Blake of Tess, TJ, Mark and Taylor; and his parents, John Panichas and Jennie Matsagas Panichas.
