He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Aspasia Bertsos (Patti); his children, Leonidas (Leo) and Marta Eleni; his granddaughter Lela; and his parents, Leonidas Bertsos and Margarita Bertsos. He was also cherished by his sister and two brothers and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Basil's Greek Orthodox Church.
