In the vast expanse of eternity, Janet shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Janet farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Sereyko. She is survived by: her children, Caroline Sereyko of Branford and James Schmaltz of Madison.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Guilford Funeral Home and Cremation Services (115 Church St, Guilford, CT 06437).

In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made in Janet's memory to the Connecticut Foodshare or the Saint Joseph's Indian School (stjo.org).
