He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bussmann and Ann Marie Bussmann; and his siblings, Judy and Bill. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Heath of Guilford, CT; his daughter Courtney (Matt); his grandson Heath of Cheshire, CT.; and his siblings, George (Regina) of Guilford, CT, Margie Gillis (Chip) of Westport, CT and Ammy Heiser (Stetson) of Pembroke, NH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The Bussmann Family Foundation, a long-standing non-profit organization that supports education and child services in the undeserved communities in the New Haven area.
