Joan Tufano Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 13, 2023, at the age of 87, Joan Tufano of Branford, Connecticut, born in Sheffield, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norris Blake and Dorcas Blake (Cushing); her husband Thomas Tufano; her son James Tufano; her granddaughter Candice Tufano; and her siblings, Vivien Gyuro and Merrill Blake.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Tufano of Clinton, Michael Tufano of Branford, Ronald Tufano (Raffaella) of East Haven and Stanley Tufano of Branford; her grandchildren, Allen Tufano, Troy Tufano (Lisa), Noel Tufano (Stan Wheeler), Ronald Tufano Jr. (Mary Alice), Brittney Tufano, Nicholas Tufano (Carly Warrick), Michael Tufano (Megan), Cassandra Baker (Kevin), Kayla Michaud and Anthony Michaud Jr.; and her brother Bruce Blake (Priscilla) of Wallingford. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, her family in East Haven, where she was married to her soul mate for 55 years.
