He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. DeCola and Dorothy Zimmerling DeCola; and his sister Marion DeCola. He is survived by: his spouse Tracy Viel DeCola; his daughter Dawn McCarthy of West Haven; his grandson Leo Grudin of West Haven; and his brothers, David DeCola (Danielle) of North Branford and Paul DeCola of New Haven.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish (80 Taylor Ave, East Haven, CT 06513).
