He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris O'Connor and Robert "Okie" O'Connor; and his spouse Jean Charlotte. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff and Sean; his grandchildren, Paul, Daniel, Rowan and Meaghan; his sisters-in-law, Virgina Charlotte and Patricia Dickinson (Ken); his nieces and nephews, Krista Depukat (David), Kelly Dickinson, Kyle Dickinson (Alicia Michaud) and Erik Kousen (Kayla); his caregivers, Nicole, Shauna of Family Matters, LLC and Carrie; and also, Kristin Wildermann, Lisa Friedlander and Jean.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W.'s. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home (244 N Main St, Branford, CT 06405). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Bosco Parish in St. Therese Church (105 Leetes Island Rd, Branford, CT 06405).
