He is survived by: his children, Carol A. Casanova of New Haven, Joseph Casanova, Jr. of Branford and Mark Casanova (Beth) of North Branford; his grandchildren, Jarrod Casanova, Kurt Casanova and U. S. Navy; and his sister Connie Casanova of Branford.
