She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mortimer and Anne Mortimer (Greene); her former husband Angelo Squeglia; her husband Thomas Zacks; her stepdaughter Lorraine Brooks; and her brothers, Bill Mortimer and George Mortimer Jr..

She is survived by: her brothers, Thomas Mortimer of Branford and Bruce Mortimer of Buffalo; her stepgrandchildren, Kim, Heather and Wayne; and her great grandchild Billy.

She was a generous lady, always willing to give or donate to any veteran's organizations.
