She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Schmidt and Mary Schmidt; her sister Mary Lou Anderson; and her children, Thomas McGwire (Carrolline), Charles McGwire (Jessica) and Brett McGwire (Maria).

She is survived by: her husband Tad McGwire; her siblings, Pam Sheehan (Bob), Karen Landane (Scott) and Louis Schmidt (Mary); her sister-in-law Polly Cosmedy (Rich); and her grandson Matias Saenz McGwire. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
