It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen T. McGovern of Branford, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Heeran and Ella Heeran; her husband Joseph McGovern Sr.; her siblings, Joseph Heeran Sr. and Mary Sullivan; and her daughter Nancy Nugent.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph McGovern Jr. (Carol), MaryEllen Baldino and Maureen Morton (Craig); her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abigail Baldino, Kerrie Nugent, Brendan, Jocelin, Simone McGovern, Samantha, Vincent and Kathleen Morton; and her friends, Mary Lou, Theresa and Lorraine. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
