It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Peterson of Branford, Connecticut, who passed away on August 15, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Linda had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Linda may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her father Arnold Taylor Peterson (Pete). She is survived by: her mother Evangeline Lois Peterson of Branford; her siblings, Jane Bouley and David Peterson; her children, Jeremy David Smith and Jaime Linda Smith; and her grandchildren, Roux Maeve Kent-Smith and Caleb Joseph Peterson.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may also be made in her honor to the American Lung Association, which works to improve lung health and prevent disease, including COPD; or a charity of your choice.
