He is survived by: his stepmother Doris Evelyn Sheffield; his children, Christopher L. H. Sheffield (Miss Atalie) and Tracy S. Teeling (Kevin) of Winsted; his grandsons, Nicholas M. Teeling (Kayla Briere) of West Hartford and Nolyn F. Teeling of Winsted; his brothers, Glenn Sheffield, Dale Sheffield (Linda) and Edward Sheffield, II (Terry); and his stepbrother William McCornick (Nora) of Torrington. He is also survived by his wife had several dogs, parrots and various birds.
