He is survived by: his brother Wink Brainerd; his children, Alicia Snyder, Lauren Benton, Stuart Brainerd (Lynn) and Patty Troidle (Mark); his grandchildren, Jennifer Goudy (James), Alexandra Baggett (Scudder), Melissa Benton, Jamie Troidle, Lucas Brainerd and BoYun Brainerd; and his wife Elaine Brown. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
