Volpe Jr. of Branford, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa P. Volpe (Salemme); his parents, Ralph Volpe and Amalia Volpe; his son Dennis; his daughter-in-law Janis Volpe (Ferriola); and his siblings, Ann Bolognese, Ernest, Rudolph and Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Dubois (Kermit) of Sudbury, MA and Ralph A. Volpe, III (Maria) of North Haven; his grandchildren, Tara Keating (Kevin) of Branford, CT, Kristin Lentini (Bryan) of Cheshire, CT, Dennis R. Volpe, Jr. (Alexia) of Madison, CT, Melissa Vanasse (Ryan) of Cheshire, CT, Jennifer Dubois of Wayland, MA and Amanda Jermine (Rob) of North Haven, CT.; and his great grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Andrew Lentini, Tessa, Ellie Keating, Dylan, Evelyn Volpe, Nathan, Matthew Vanasse, Avery and Robert Jermine.
