He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Albert and Bertha Michaud Albert; his son Scott Albert; and his siblings, Rina Lirette, Alberic, Guy, Jack, Gerald and Ronald.

He is survived by: his wife Dawn Mazeiko Albert; his children, Kevin Albert of Branford and Karen Albert (Brendan Coyle) of Killingworth; his stepsons, Randall Chittenden (Kelly) of North Branford and Michael Chiitenden of Branford; his siblings, Nicole Michaud (Jacques) of Branford and Marcellin Albert of New Brunswick; his grandchildren, Jack Coyle, Jesse Chittenden (Jenna), Zachary, Joshua, Aidan and Shelby Chittenden; and his great grandchild Emmett Chittenden.

Due to the pandemic a private service will be held at the convenience of his family.
