Burkhardt; his foster brother John Wasserman; his stepsons, William Marsland (Lawrence Desbiens) and Michael Marsland; his granddaughter Sarah Marsland; his nephews, Christian Burkhardt of Branford and Richard Burkhardt of Kingwood, TX; his niece Priscilla Carr (Patrick) of Parkland, FL; his cousin Paul Burkhardt (Meredith); Katherine Marsland of Branford. He was also cherished by children and grandchildren.
