It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stella Dibernardo (Branford, Connecticut), who passed away on April 30, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Mario DiBernardo; her parents, Walter Lapchon and Olga Lapchon; and her daughter Gail DiBernardo. She is survived by: her son Lawrence DiBernardo (Carol) of Branford; her grandsons, Lawrence and Marcus DiBernardo; her daughter Marie Tiernan (Chuck) of Branford; her grandson Jack; her daughter Michelle Oxsalida (Stephen) of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Cheryl Barker and Stephen Oxsalida; her son-in-law Ed Mikel of Seattle, WA; and her grandson-in-law Michael DiBernardo of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

She will be buried alongside her husband at the Central Burying Grounds in Hamden, services will be private due to the pandemic.
