With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sue Barnes of Branford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 13, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Sue shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sue farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Dan Cosgrove and Alice Cosgrove; and her former life partner A. Prentice Barnes, Sr.. She is survived by : her brothers, Daniel and Mark Cosgrove (Linda Cosgrove); and her grandchildren, Margaret Mooney (Missy) and Thomas Barnes (Tom).
