He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Piscitello Santa Barbara; his parents, Thomas, Sr. Barbara and Helen Pianka Santa Barbara; his granddaughter Taylor MacKinnel; and his brother Paul Santa Barbara.
He is survived by: his children, Anne MacKinnel (David) of Branford and Thomas F. Santa Barbara of Branford; his grandchildren, Tiffany MacKinnel (Odell) and Thomas MacKinnel (Michelle); and his great grandchildren, Kaden Newman, Summer McNair, Jagger Newman, Briella Newman and Savannah MacKinnel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home (244 N Main St, Branford, CT 06405). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (731 Main St, Branford, CT 06405).
