With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne G. Childs of Branford, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on February 18, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Miller Childs of Branford; his sons, David Childs of Quincy, MA, Paul Childs (Jan) of North Haven, CT and Stephen Childs (Renie) of Branford; his grandchildren, Scott Childs (Lauren), Gregory Childs, Danielle Childs-Cook and Dalton Childs; his great grandchildren, Jason, Lilly, Kaity, Chelsea, Richard, Dakota and Teagan; his sisters, Marilyn Stiles of Branford and Lois Childs of Branford; his cousin Donald Lacy; his brother-in-law Henry Stiles; and his parents, George Childs and Doris Mansfield Childs. He was also cherished by niece and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Branford Food Pantry, Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter or Michael J. Fox Foundation.
