He is survived by: his wife Judy Hernandez; his children, Cristal Berrios and Jose Arroyo; his grandchildren, Carter, Nolan, Cassidy and Eneida; his siblings, Alicia Chiluisa (Polo Chiluisa), Carlos Gonzalez (Gloria Taveras), Eva Irizarry, Milagros Hernandez, Hilda Hernandez, Angel Hernandez and Patria Hernandez; and his goddaughters, Tanisha Valentine and Jenaliz Deleon.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Smilow Caner hospital care center, in honor of Alberto's lifelong commitment to serving others.
