With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andres Nieves of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Domingo Nieves Roman and Alejandrina Ramos Gerena; his brothers, Jose and Anival Nieves; and his pets, Coco and Mella.
He is survived by: his children, Andrew Nieves of Fryeburg, ME, Kristine M. Nieves (Agustin) of Miami, FL and Jennifer M. Hughes (Michael) of Naugatuck; his siblings, Jaime, Victor Nieves and Elizabeth Nieves-Cruz (Diego) of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Lenyse Slone (Austin), Lissette Irizarry, Jose Irizarry of Miami, FL, Alyza Nieves-Bowers, SGT Nathaniel Taylor II, Gamaliel Correa, Harlow Hughes of Naugatuck, Alyah of Fryeburg Maine and Chase Nieves of Fryeburg Maine; and his great grandchild Axel Slone. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
