He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Sentementes and Maria Sentementes (Giannoglou); and his siblings, Aristotle Sentementes (Penelope) and Artemis Papagelis (Chris). He is survived by: his wife Pamela Petrakis; his children, Mary Michailidis (Nicholas Sauter) and Nicholas Sentementes (Denise); his grandchildren, Panayiotis "Peter" Michailidis (Kate Anderson), Andreas "Andy" Michailidis (Meghan Hillery), Alexa Sentementes, Nicholas Sentementes and Stephen Sentementes; and his brother Pericles Sentementes (Erika). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Homes for the Brave (Bridgeport), Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (Bridgeport) or Church of the Archangels (Stamford).
