It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnaldo Paiva of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Arnaldo departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Arnaldo may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Arnaldo leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Paiva and Albina Chaves Paiva. He is survived by: his wife Maria Paiva; his sons, Carlos Paiva (Helena) and Mario Paiva (Helena Paulo); his grandchildren, Erica Doane (Kyle), Gabriella Paiva, Daniella Paiva and Carla Paiva; his great grandchild Sebastian; and his siblings, Luis Paiva (Candida) and Rosa Salgado. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (465 Huntington Rd, Bridgeport, CT 06608).
