We announce the death of Barbara Jean Bottone of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 79. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Barbara will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Barbara’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dobelstein and Dorothy Dobelstein; her sons, Frankie and Jeffrey DiBiagio; and her significant other George Godwin.
She is survived by: her sisters, Susan Waller (Kenneth) and Patty Wasson (Bob); her nieces, Michelle, Stacey and Chrissy; and her godson KJ.
