She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Simmon and Nellie Mae Johnson; and her sisters, Susan "Susie" Johnson and Sylvia. She is survived by: her significant other Paul Whitaker; her nephew Antonio "Tubbs" Johnson; her great-aunt Sylvia; her cousin Susan; her nieces, Stephanie and Whitney Johnson; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Elijah, Josiah, Nysheara, Skylar, Wynter and Stormy; her stepchildren, Tonya, Darren and Nicole Whitaker; and also, Dominice Johnson and Dominice.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Baker-Isaac Funeral Services (985 Stratford Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06607). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Park Cemetery (620 Lindley St, Bridgeport, CT 06606).
