She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Jennings and Mable Jennings (Jones); her husband Walter Jefferson; her siblings, Dorothy Jackson, Shirley Jennings, Edward Jennings, Edith Mae Alers, Mable Jennings, Ann Jennings and Sonny Jennings; her sons, James Womack and Walter Jefferson; and her grandson Travis Walker.

She is survived by: her children, Joyce, Carolyn and Howard; her grandchildren, Lakesha and James "King"; her daughter Evelyn; her grandchildren, Samara, Joyce, Sam, Alicia, Shynece, Walter Jr., Andrew, Isaiah, Destiny, Jahaira, Maya, Janiya, Synques, Howard Jr., Daishaun and Mya; her great grandchildren, Jonaihja, Eyga, Tyrone, Tyriana, Shynia, Shaniyah, DaeQwan, Ameir, Sania, Samiyah, Nyla, Charlee and Markay of Jonathan; her grandchildren, CJ, Rhoneisha, Savannah, Malachi, Alijah, Kahliyah, Kamora, Mahkah, Royalty, Sarah and Jyn'eral; her great great grandchildren, Harmony, Ashton and Layla; and her sisters-in-law, Christine and Emiline Jefferson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
