He was predeceased by: his parents, Damian Mitri and Marie Moukannass; and his brother Joseph Mitri Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Joyce Sarkis (Fadi), Elie Mitri (Amani) and Gaby Mitri; his grandchildren, Christel, Moussa, Guayel and Chris Elio; and his siblings, John Mitri (Souad) and Guita Naassan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Christo's memory may be made to the St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, 5458 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604.
