With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Helen Cerreta of Bridgeport, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Dorothy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bela "William" Bok and Helen Bok (Haydu); her husband Salvatore Cerreta; and her daughter Mary A. Dwyer Drobnak. She is survived by: her children, Joseph A. Cerreta, Sr. (Maureen) of Trinity, FL, John W. Cerreta (Mary) of Cheshire, CT and Sally A. Zwierlein (Fran) of Bridgeport, CT.. She is also survived by grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to a church or charity of one's choice.
