She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Townsend, Sharon Beale (Anthony) and George Anthony Walker, Sr. (Jannaya); her brother Wade Townsend (Lillian); her godchildren, Tierra Clemons, Christopher Tillery (Carla) and Sonia Collins (Kenny); and her close friend Mattie Bell.
