He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond McCarthy and Margaret Ryan McCarthy; his siblings, Jackie, Tommie McCarthy, Teresa Hanly (Frank) and Angela Walsh; his brothers-in-law, Sonny McCormack and Johnie Falvey; and his daughter-in-law Heather McCarthy.
He is survived by: his wife Cathleen Falvey McCarthy; his children, Sean McCarthy, Michael McCarthy, Mary Teresa Pruzinsky (Rob) and Thomas McCarthy; his grandchildren, Katey, Colin, Shannon, Ryan, Mackenzie and Matthew; his daughter-in-law Paige McCarthy; his siblings, Mary McCormack and Michael McCarthy (Margaret); and his siblings-in-law, Seamus Walsh and Joan McCarthy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
