It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frutuoso Rua Pires of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on October 28, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Pires and Joaquina Rua; his son-in-law Ferdy Rodrigues; and his siblings-in-law, Fernando Reis and Claudette Pires.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Ardito Pires; his children, Roseann Rodrigues of Shelton and Fred Pires (Jolanda) of Ansonia; his grandchildren, Melissa Rodrigues and David Rodrigues; and his siblings, Anthony Pires, Albino Pires (Diane), Fernando Pires and Maria Reis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
