He was predeceased by: his father Gary Paul Sharpe Sr.; his grandparents, Charles Edward Ruff and Dorothy Ruff; his uncle Samuel Joseph Ruff; and his cousin Joshua Joaquin Tenn.
He is survived by: his mother Twana Ruff-Taylor; his stepfather James Taylor; his children, Hasani, Mysonne, Gary III, Naeshon, Dior, Austin, Cy'aira and Gi'yonna "Gigi"; his siblings, Lashawn Ruff (Shontae Stubbs), Raymond J. Gaither Jr., Ebony and Erica; his grandchildren, Nae'Ahni and Ailani; his aunts and uncles, Tracy Goncalves, Charlene Tenn (John), Dr. Caroline Ruff-Looney (Dean), Michael Ruff (Louise) and Andre Ruff (Liz); his goddaughter Kieashanay; and his sons, Tah'zyon and Rhyon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Stratford (1301 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
