George Sidney Cofield Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Sidney Cofield of Bridgeport, Connecticut, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on May 11, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Jeanne Dillon Cofield; his father Sidney Cofield; his children, George S. Cofield II (Wende) and Gwyn Gartsu (Greg); his grandchildren, Taryn, Megan, Caitlin Cofield, Katy, Nick and John Gartsu; and his great grandchildren, Jameson Gysel, Alexandra, Josephine, Catherine Beauchamp and Arvid Öhrberg.
