She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Linton and Anna-Mae Linton; her grandmother Blanche Beatrice Best-Belton; her daughter Wanda M. Swinton; her siblings, Beatrice L. Brewer, Emery Linton Sr. and William Linton; her grandchildren, Shaneya N. Brown and Shamar Swinton Sr.; and her nephew Emery Linton Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Ronald A. Swinton, Kimberly D. Swinton and Tamara Waiters-Johnson (Keith); her grandchildren, Rondele Hicks, Steven T. Hutchinson, Quay Swinton, Najee Cohen, Ronald Swinton Jr., Shamaria Hutchinson, Kayron Chappell, Keith Johnson Jr., Dashuan Chappell and Amari Jefferson; her great grandchildren, D'Andre Brown, Shamar Swinton Jr., Lyn'Ni Reid, Brooklyn, Skylen Swinton, Nore Cohen, Kace Johnson, Kamyra, Kacey Chappell, Dion Swinton, Mason, Jay'Vani and Elliana Flores; her great great grandchildren, Phoenix, Kaio and Amar Swinton; her sister Eleanor Fleming; her cousins, Barbara L. Thomas and Rita Hill; and her nieces and nephews, Kinya and Chester Kennedy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
