She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bernie Steinberg and Ethel Steinberg (Regan); her friends, Janet Donnelly, Performing Arts, Donna Rowe Moss and Liz Fishman; her husband James Wade D'Acosta; her parents-in-law, James Louis and Levora Manning D'Acosta of New Canaan; her sister Zelda Parnes (Rabbi Stephan Parnes); her niece Laura Pierce (Judson); her nephews, Neil Bernstein (Dahna Jones) and Michael Bernstein, MD (Alyssa); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Benjamin, Harper, Emma, Lucy and Golda.
Contracting Covid a few days before Passover, her condition gradually worsened until a sudden downturn required immediate admission to St. Vincent's through the emergency room on May 3.
