He was predeceased by: his parents, Brigido Sanchez and Leonor Falcon; his son Omal Velez; and his siblings, Brigido Sanchez, Jr., Ramonita Sanchez and Miguel Angel Sanchez.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Lopez of Bridgeport; his children, Irelssie, Ismael Jr., Kelvin, Maelis and Hector; and his siblings, Juan, Enrique, Carmen and Flora. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
