She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joseph Barney and Margaret Elizabeth Mielcke Barney; her brother Frederick William Barney (Joan Weber Barney); and her granddaughter Jenna Leigh Evans. She is survived by: her husband Robert Roy Evans; her children, Lynn Evans Coons (Theodore) and Robert David Evans (Gretchen); her grandchildren, Theodore Coons, Jr. (Elizabeth Yee), Blythe Coons (James Micciulla), Margaret Coons (Stefan Weijola) and Danielle Pollman (Bobby); and her great grandchildren, Wiley Coons, Catherine Coons, Elinor Micciulla and Blaise Micciulla. She is also survived by nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
